I think this place looks just awesome, all the pictures (even the ones of the sound equipment) boast an aura of fun and frolicks and the food looks spot on (real photos of real dishes gets the thumbs up from me every time over those monet style presentations that chains and take outs display)
The only two questions I have are as follows: How far from the main hotel strip are you? And are you still open in September? (probably a stupid questions but I am used to the seasonal openings of the places in the mediteranean)
I am coming over to Hawaii on September 12/13 for two weeks with my good pal Greg and want to pick somewhere with a Hawaiian kick but with people who can give us some advice on where is good to go and so on, I hope emailing ahead means you arent sitting there like a bear with a sore head thinking ‘Does this English guy (limey) ever put a sock in it?’ when I ask the umpteenth question (this will be my first time to Hawaii and after we are travelling the west coast of the USA for two months so to say I will be in awe the whole time is an understatement) but any advice you have to give will be greatly appreciated, think I will make The Shack our local for the time we are there.
Thanks in advance and if I dont hear from you before I journey westwards, look out for a pastey white Englishman with far too many freckles waltzing in to try out the lenegdary buffalo wings I have read so much about on or around September 13th 2011.
All the best,
Sean Power
